The cost per print is lower over time, the support infrastructure exists, and the output is predictable. That predictability matters when you report to both operations and finance. Operations wants uptime. Finance wants no surprise costs. I'd rather spend 10 minutes explaining that trade-off to a client than deal with mismatched expectations later. An informed customer asks better questions and makes faster decisions.
